The challenge
Most businesses in Belize can't accept card payments online without building their own connection to a bank. After doing it for Seascape, we turned it into a service any Belize business can sign up for.
What we built
- Payment links a business can send by email, text or WhatsApp.
- A ready-made checkout page, and invoices customers pay online, with products, prices and GST built in.
- Prices in US dollars that settle in Belize dollars, with the exchange rate locked so refunds always match the original charge.
- Refunds, card holds that are charged later, and saved cards for returning customers.
- A dashboard for balance, payouts, downloadable reports, customers and chargebacks.
- Fraud rules and block lists, team member invites, and a test mode to try everything before going live.
Where it is now
Built and in final testing with the bank ahead of launch, with Seascape as its first business.
